FAQs - We’re Here to Help
Q. What is the capacity of your orchard for fruit production?

The mango orchards at Thaisomboon Farm cover over 1500 Rai. Whilst production estimates are dependent on a a multiple of factors including the species, along with the ever-changing environmental and economical considerations, we have planted an average of 100 quality plants per rai and therefore can expect to yield approximately 50-100kg of quality mango per plant upon harvest.
Q. Do you cultivate all mango species? What species is your main cultivate?
In past years, the farm has cultivated up to eight (8) different species of mango, mostly species that are native to Thailand.
The number of cultivates per harvest year will natually fluctuate depending on the supply and demand requirements of each cultivate, taking into further consideration environmental factors and the rotation of our lesser produced cultivates as required.
Our main cultivates are the Nam Dok Mai Si Thong and Nam Dok Mai No. 4 varieties.
